I’m an experienced platform engineer and team lead who loves building systems that scale — and helping people grow while doing it. Currently, I lead a platform team at IBM Research working at the intersection of AI and quantum computing, building scalable infrastructure that accelerates groundbreaking research and real-world innovation. Over the years, I’ve led engineering teams working across AI platforms, serverless infrastructure, Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms, quantum computing, and large-scale data systems. I’ve squeezed every last drop of performance out of GPUs, slashed container cold-start times to near zero, built a serverless platform for quantum workloads, and built and operated platforms that power data pipelines processing terabytes of data. I have extensive open source experience as a contributor and maintainer across multiple projects, including serving as an elected member of the Technical Oversight Committee for the Knative project, where I helped guide its direction and governance. I stay connected to the broader tech community as a conference speaker (and occasional organizer) and mentor to up-and-coming engineers. In a previous life, I studied French history and played poker.
